Tuesday to Friday:
11:15 am (start of first tour) to 5:45 pm (end of last tour)
Saturday and Sunday:
10:15 am (start of first tour) to 5:45 pm (end of last tour)

School Groups

Tuesday to Friday:
(Two school groups per day)
8:15 am to 12:00 pm (school group 1)
9:45 am to 1:30 pm (school group 2)

Private Groups and Company Events

Tuesday to Sunday:
From 4:30 pm and by arrangement

Admission

Admission for individual visitors and school groups is free. Outside normal opening hours, exclusive use of the Movie Factory can be booked for a fee.

Accessibility

The Deutsches Filmmuseum is accessible for visitors with reduced mobility and for visitors with prams via a lift on the west side of the museum.

All exhibition levels (1st to 3rd floor), the cinema on the lower ground floor, as well as the film workshop and workshop rooms on the 4th floor are accessible for people with reduced mobility via lifts in the foyer. A separate disabled toilet is located in the basement. A wheelchair can be loaned from the museum.

The sets of the Movie Factory are still under development. There may be some limited accessibility.

For visitors with a degree of disability of 50 per cent or more, there is a reduced entrance fee to the exhibitions applies. Admission is free for a carer or accompanying person if there is a “B” indicated on your disability card.
